SAFETY & FAQ

Sure Shot Virtual Shooting Range is a fun and safe environment where we make sure the simulated firearms are handled properly at all times.

Safety Procedures

Step 1: The Orientation

You will sign a waiver either after you make your reservation or once you arrive at the facility. You will then be given a quick lesson from one of our Range Masters. They will teach you how to use the sim firearms and allow you to take some practice shots so you can familiarize yourself with the technology.

Step 2: Your Reserved Bay

You'll then be directed to your reserved bay. Our friendly staff will be available to answer any questions and ensure you have a great experience while being respectful of your time.

Step 3: Respect the Firearm

Safety is a priority at Sure Shot. The general rule of thumb is to handle the sim guns as real firearms. This is a good practice that transfers to live ranges and real firearms. Always keep your firearms pointed in a safe direction. Never point a firearm at another person. Keep your finger off the trigger unless you're ready to shoot.

We can not tolerate carelessness when using the sim guns, both for safety and for the fact that they are an expensive piece of equipment.

** Disclaimer ** There are also no outside weapons or ammunition allowed on the premises. This is for your own safety and to avoid confusion with the sim guns.

As always, we're looking out for your health and well-being. We're also making every effort to reduce crowds and make sure all firearms and equipment are cleaned and disinfected in between uses. So you can feel confident you'll have fun and practice in a safe environment.

FAQ

What are your cleaning and sanitation policies?

Each piece of equipment is cleaned and sanitized in between groups. We care about your health and safety and want you to feel comfortable when you arrive at Sure Shot Virtual Range.

What is your response to COVID-19?

We try our best to limit crowds in the lobby and provide hand sanitizer at the check in counter and in each shooting bay. We also pay attention to local and state guidelines regarding controlling COVID-19 spread. At this time, masks are not required in the facility. However if you would like to wear one that is totally fine.

How does one distinguish between a real gun and a laser gun?

Our simulation guns are full weight and are modeled after a real firearm. However there is no possible way for it to function with live ammunition. The sim guns are painted blue and have an orange tip so they can be easily identified. While we support the 2nd Amendment 100%, we ask that all guests leave their concealed carry firearm at home or in their vehicle. This is a precautionary measure to make sure the range is safe for all guests and that there are no accidental discharges.

How do I book for a large group?

Give us a call at (541) 786-9058 or stop by and we’ll help you plan an event your group will never forget!

Can I change or cancel a reservation?

Yes, you can. Email us at info@sureshotvirtualrange.com or give us a call at (541) 786-9058. We do ask that changes and cancellations be made 24 hours in advance.

Is photo-taking allowed?

Yes, it is. We want you to take as many photos and videos as you want so you can share your experience with as many people as possible! Feel free to tag us on social media or use #SureShotVirtualRange when posting.

How many players at a time?

Our bays can accommodate up to two shooters simultaneously depending on the game or drill. You can book up to four shooters in each individual bay. In bays with four shooters, the shooters will alternate during their allotted time. You can reserve multiple bays if you have a group larger than four people.

What should I wear?

Wear anything that is comfortable, and allows you to move around freely. Some of the games will test your reflexes, so you’ll want to be as comfortable as possible!

What are the physical requirements for the experiences?

There are no specific physical requirements. However, our sim guns are full weight so you may notice your arms and trigger finger getting tired. We encourage taking turns to reduce fatigue.

Is there a minimum age requirement?

There is no age limit. However all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and be able to hold our full weight sim guns without dropping or damaging them. Parents or guardians are responsible for the treatment of the equipment.

When should I arrive?

Plan on arriving 10-15 minutes prior to your reservation so you can review and sign a waiver before participating.

Can I read your waiver?

Yes, you can. You can find it here.

Should I make reservations?

Yes, reservations are recommended. However, you may also walk in and we’ll assign a bay if one is available. Be advised that there might be a short wait time.

Can I drink alcohol while shooting?

Currently there is no alcohol allowed onsite. However, we are working to get our restaurant and beer/wine bar open soon! Once our restaurant and bar are open, you will be allowed to consume alcoholic beverages while enjoying your virtual shooting experience.

How do I make a reservation for a group of people when we all want to pay separately?

Let us know during check-in and we can split the payment as needed for the group.

What if I or someone in my party doesn’t want to shoot? Can they just come and hang out while others shoot?

Absolutely! We encourage everyone to give it a try. But if there are members of your party that do not want to participate, they can watch free of charge.

What if I’m late? What if someone in my group is late?

If you are going to be late to your booking, give us a call and we can try to make accommodations. “No Shows” will be charged full price for their booking. The credit card on file will be charged.
